White Eagle Hostel is looking to expand its graphic design team and is on the lookout for fresh talent. You will be designing a wide variety of things across digital and offline media. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, hungry for growth, capable of delivering brilliant creative ideas, and show amazing attention to detail, have strong creative skills, and a portfolio of work that demonstrates their passion for illustrative design and typography.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency of designs across various media outlets · Create compelling and effective logos, designs, print, and digital media.
• Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape, and market trends.
• Proficient in visual design for websites and web platforms.
• Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials.
• Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size, and style and submitting them for approval.
• Preparing finished art by operating necessary equipment and software.
• Coordinating with clients and colleagues as necessary.
• Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed.
• Communicating with clients about layout and design.
• Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites with software such as photoshop.
• Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary.

Requirements:

• Experience as a graphic designer or in a related field.
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools and the entire Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with UX and UI design.
• Experience with design thinking and research.
• Wireframing and prototyping screens, ads, apps, and other collateral.
• Experience with building brands from scratch.
• A strong eye for visual composition.
• Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Able to give and receive constructive criticism.
• Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, product design, advertisements, and multimedia design.
• Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills, and design skills A graduate degree in Graphic Design is not a prerequisite.
